Are you ready to join our growing movement
and speak truth to power?
is Rock the Vote’s campaign to engage and mobilize young people in the 2016 general election. Speaking truth to power — through engagement, through activism and through our votes — is how young people have shaped the world around us for generations. We know what’s at stake in November, and we are building a movement driven by real issues and an inclusive vision for the future.
Truth to Power will include on-the-ground voter registration drives and election turnout efforts in key battleground states across the country, as well as a fall 2016 national bus tour featuring appearances by Rock the Vote artists and musicians, Funny or Die comedians and cultural leaders. Check back soon for key opportunities to get involved or attend an event near you.
When young people come together — across race, gender, family background, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability — to participate in elections, we have the strength to change our society for the better. We have the chance to build a future where everyone’s voice counts and anyone can access opportunity.
Voting in November is our opportunity to build a system that works for all of us, grounded in fairness and justice.
Rock the Vote’s Truth to Power campaign will officially launch at exciting events during the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
