  • There are currently 11 million immigrants in our country without a clear pathway to citizenship.
  • 65,000 hardworking young people, aka DREAMers, graduate high school each year with limited opportunities due to being undocumented.
  • 68% of young people nationwide support immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship.
  • On Election Day, young Latinos turned out in record numbers. Their votes tipped the scales in the 2012 elections. And with 800,000 Latinos turning 18 each year, their electoral power will only increase.
  • Now, Republicans and Democrats (specifically, a group of known lawmakers as "The Gang of Eight") have come together and drafted a comprehensive plan for immigration reform that will most likely meet heated debated in Congress.
  • Senate passed the “Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013” on June 27.
  • There is expected to be be heated debate, a lot of amendments, and delay to the plan before it is brought up in the House. We must make sure this does not happen!

We are America's innovators -- the leaders of technology and innovation companies from Silicon Valley start-ups to companies across America -- and we're working with thePartnership for a New American Economy to lead a movement among all Americans to pass sensible immigration reform. Innovation and technology are the engines of the American economy, but we need more of the best and brightest to power it. It's simple: the more innovators, entrepreneurs, and hard working individuals we have in America, the better our economy performs and the more jobs we create for all Americans. We're bridging party lines to streamline, modernize, and rationalize our broken immigration system.

We march to ensure that the broad immigration bills being considered in Congress include provisions to boost innovation and entrepreneurship, and we march to seize the moment and get comprehensive immigration reform passed. Are you in?
