In 2008, politicians - and the country - learned that the youth vote cannot be ignored. In 2010, we are going to make our voices heard again. There are elections across the country this year: for Governor, U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, state legislature, mayor, city council, propositions, and more!
The week of June 21st marks the launch of Rock the Vote's 2010 voter registration and civic engagement efforts in five states: Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Join us at one of the events below and learn about how you can be a part of the campus and community Street Teams that will register and turn out tens of thousands of young people this November. This strategy session will be a great opportunity to meet your State Coordinator, other local volunteers, and share your ideas for voter registration!
