2013 Elections in Oregon

Registration Information
The deadline to register vote in Oregon is: Received 25 days before the election.
You may register to vote in Oregon if:
- You are a resident of Oregon.
- You are a citizen of the United States of America.
- You are at least 17 years of age.

Voting Hours on Election Day
The polls are open from:Oregon is an all vote-by-mail state.
Your ballot packet will be mailed to you a few weeks before Election Day. Inside the packet, you will find the ballot, a secrecy envelope and a return envelope. Once you vote, place the ballot in the secrecy envelope and seal it in the pre-addressed return envelope. And don't forget to sign the return envelope on the appropriate line. After that, just return the ballot either by mail or at a designated dropsite. You can find a dropbox here.
The voted ballot must be received in any county elections office or designated dropsite by 8:00pm on Election Day. Note: postmarks do not count!
You can track the status of your ballot by going online to: My Vote at www.oregonvotes.org or you can call your county elections office and ask if they received your ballot. A record is kept showing each voter whose ballot has been returned.
